Transforming Lives, One Haircut at a Time

Cutting4Change is more than just a fresh cut — it’s a fresh start.
We connect at-risk youth with caring mentors in barbershops across the country, building life skills and confidence through meaningful conversation, goal setting, and community support.

About the Founder

My name is Larry Rowe, and I founded Cutting4Change with one purpose: to mentor at-risk youth. The idea for Cutting4Change was born during the 8 ½ years I spent in the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. During that time, I often reflected on my own life and wondered where were the people who could have guided me, supported me, and helped me navigate my path? They weren’t there.

Now, I have the opportunity to be that person for someone else to offer guidance, support, and direction when it matters most. My long-term mission is to expand Cutting4Change across every state in the U.S., building a network of mentors dedicated to saving and empowering our youth, one life at a time.
